The finest  time to have a holiday in   Kandy is during the cool and dry season between November and early April. December to March is  considered the peak season for foreign travelers who intend to visit  Kandy. The fact, while most of other countries suffer from winter cold, weather condition is excellent in Sri Lanka,  draws many foreign visitors during this period, hence  December to March is  a demanding period for  travelers who plan their winter holiday in an  Asian country.
