A trekker’s dream come true, Piduruthalagala Mountain together with its thriving forest reserve is a sight to behold. Rising to an imposing 2,524 metres, the peak is part of Sri Lanka’s tallest mountain and lets you move through thick mist and jungle and past free-flowing streams that add to the natural pageantry on show. Various floral and faunal species also call Piduruthalagala ‘home’ while its largely flattened surface makes it stand out from other mountain peaks in the country.
