Based on the new rules implemented by the Ministry of Defense in the Maldives, an application is required to be completed prior to guest arrivals. Should you wish to use your drone during your stay with us at Amaya Kuda Rah, please inform the reservations team at the time of booking your stay
You can travel all year round to our resort. You may experience cloudy skies and rain showers from May to October as this is considered our low season, however you can enjoy some attractive offers during this period. The island boasts sunny skies from December – April.
The resort representatives will welcome you at the airport and greet you on arrival. Just after you exit the Arrival hall, please look for the Amaya Kuda Rah sign board.
Transfer will be arranged according to the client’s arrival details. We offer Sea plane transfers that take approximately 25 minutes where you can enjoy a scenic route to one of the platforms near Amaya Resort Kuda Rah. Thereafter, you will be transferred by boat within 07-15 minutes to the resort.
The sea plane operates its flights from sunrise to sunset under normal circumstances.
The normal operating hours for Sea plane transfers are from 06:30Hrs – 16:00Hrs. The flight schedules are subject to change without prior notification by the operator.
We can arrange same day transfer for international flight arrival before 1515HRS and departure for flights after 0930HRS
If you are unable to find an international flight which gets you here in your time, you could also spend a night in Male or Hulhumale and experience the local life.
We welcome children of all ages at our resort. The resort also has a children’s play area. Baby cribs are also provided free of charge, based on the maximum villa capacity.
