Pasikudah is located on the Eastern coast of Sri Lanka and is close to Batticaloa.
It’s about 250 km and it takes about 5.5 hours to get to Pasikudah by car.
You do have some options via internal flight transfers at a premium rate, but the drive is scenic and not too long with a pit stop or two.
Yes you can swim, the waters are quite shallow in comparison to the southern seas, and it’s ideal for snorkeling and for watersport.
If you are not a fan of watersports, you can hire a bicycle and cycle across the Pasikudah town. You can even visit the local village, or drive to the Batticaloa town and fort with ample to see.
